Please ensure all precautions are taken prior to our arrival to protect surrounding areas from splashing. Also ensure you have sufficient ground protection.
Please contact us for advice if you have any questions.
How much does concrete weigh?
1 cubic metre of concrete weighs approximately 2.4 tonnes which equates to approximately 30-35 full wheel barrows.
It takes, on average, 10 minutes for 2 men to wheelbarrow 1 cubic metre.
Will it fit?
Not sure if our delivery vehicles will fit onto your site? Details of our vehicle measurements are shown below.
Concrete Pumping – Ground Line and Boom Pumps
Please note you are required to provide a bag or two of cement (depending on how long the pipeline is), a couple of metres square of polythene (to ensure there are no spillages on clean ground at the back of the pump) and a wheelbarrow (to wash out)
Our concrete pump truck drivers are highly experienced, so you can rely on us to set up the vehicles and pumps in order to overcome any access issues.
A hard, level standing area needs to be available for the concrete pump lorry and our ready-mix lorry to park back to back.
Our concrete pumping service is provided in time-slots of 4 hours.
This will allow us to setup, pump, and to tidy/clear the area at the end.
Our driver will take care to protect any areas of your site that could be damaged by the pipes or vehicles and, as we mix on site, they’ll also be able to offer you advice and adapt the amount, grade and type of concrete to suit your requirements.
The above delivery instructions are in addition to our standard company Terms and Conditions, which can be read by clicking here.
